Tangalooma Island Resort

About Tangalooma Island Resort

Reached by a ferry of about 75 minutes from Brisbane, this resort on Moreton Island hosts one wedding per day. Ceremonies can be held on the beach, on lawns beside the sand or in a garden of palms and pandanus. For the reception, couples choose between the Waterfront Pavilion marquee for 50 to 180 guests with a dancefloor, a beach bonfire reception seating up to 180, or the Wheelhouse function space for around 90. A wedding coordinator and on-island team look after the planning. Guests can book any of eight room types, from budget rooms to beachfront villas, at discounted rates, and helicopter or private boat transfers are also possible.
